This is a condensed overview of my Terms of Service. By purchasing, commissioning, bidding, or obtaining anything from me, you agree to the full Terms of Service.✦ Rights & General Usage• BlueChimera retains copyright and authorship of all original artwork and design contributions.
• Purchasing a character grants personal ownership after full payment, but does not grant authorship or commercial rights.
• Credit BlueChimera as the original designer wherever the character is publicly displayed.
• Do not claim my work as your own, remove watermarks, trace, redistribute, or directly edit my original artwork.
• AI training, datasets, NFTs, blockchain, and cryptocurrency-related use are prohibited.
• I may display finished artwork and sold designs in my portfolio or social media unless privacy was agreed upon beforehand.✦ Commissions• Commissions are artist-selective and are not first-come, first-served.
• Full payment is required before work begins unless another arrangement was approved in writing.
• Accepted payment methods may include Cash App, PayPal, and Ko-fi.
• The Client must provide accurate references and instructions before work begins.
• Reasonable revisions may be requested during the sketch phase.
• Major changes after sketch approval, inaccurate references, or additions outside the original request may require an extra fee.
• Refunds are not provided once work has begun unless I cancel the commission or approve an exception.
• Layered files, source files, alternate formats, and unused sketches are not included unless specifically stated.✦ Bidding & Auctions• Only bid when your funds are available and you are prepared to complete payment.
• Bids are binding unless I expressly release the bidder.
• Questions about payment, ownership, usage, or licensing must be asked before bidding.
• Unless otherwise stated, a bid is considered winning after 48 hours without a higher valid bid.
• The winner has 48 hours to pay unless a payment plan was disclosed with the bid and accepted beforehand.
• Payment plans are not approved unless I clearly accept them in writing.
• Withdrawing a bid, failing to pay, or failing to communicate may result in a warning, auction restriction, or permanent bidding ban.✦ Designs & Adoptables• Ownership transfers only after full payment has been completed.
• Personal artwork, writing, roleplay, profiles, alternate universes, sibling versions, outfits, accessories, and character lore are permitted.
• Minor to moderate redesigns are allowed as long as the character remains reasonably recognizable.
• Defining traits, markings, species features, or the core palette may not be completely replaced to create an unrelated design without permission.
• Redesigns must be shown through new artwork or a separately licensed base. Do not edit or paint over my original artwork.
• General species, themes, palettes, outfits, and common design elements are not exclusive to one owner.
• Personal NSFW artwork of fully adult characters is permitted when properly marked as mature or explicit.
• A Toyhouse account is normally required for character transfers. Original design credit must remain accurate and visible.
• Do not delete, duplicate, or hide a profile to remove credit, avoid restrictions, or conceal a transfer.✦ Resale, Trades & Transfers• Purchased designs may be resold for their original purchase price plus the documented amount paid for included commissioned artwork.
• Free, gifted, personal, or trade artwork does not increase resale value.
• Designs obtained through trades, raffles, gifts, or freebies have no base monetary value unless paid artwork was later added.
• Designs may not be transferred while payments remain due or to blacklisted, graylisted, or restriction-evading users.✦ Payment Plans• Payment plans are offered at my discretion and are generally considered for purchases over $150.
• Ownership and final files remain with me until the full balance is paid.
• Payments are non-refundable after the plan begins unless I cancel the transaction.
• Missed payments or 30 consecutive days without communication may result in cancellation, forfeiture of payments, and the design being reclaimed or relisted.✦ Commercial Use, Content & Enforcement• Commercial rights are not included unless separately granted in writing.
• Merchandise, paid products, branding, advertisements, and other revenue-generating use require prior permission and may require an additional license.
• Illegal, exploitative, abusive, hateful, or harmful content is prohibited.
• False chargebacks, fraud, harassment, repeated violations, or ban evasion may result in cancelled rights and permanent blacklisting.✦ Bases• Paid bases may be used for personal characters, adoptables, reference sheets, and paid custom designs.
• Do not redistribute, resell, share, or remove credit from the blank base files.
• Each user must obtain their own copy or license.
• Base purchases are final and non-refundable.
